Run to Waves is the newest single released by Oatis, our favorite singer & songwriter from down under. Follow the link to check it out and hear more. I love the challenge of capturing sound in images. This painting is the second of the trio, titled Coriolis Force.

Recently the Creative Action Network invited me, along with a handful of other artists across the country, to portray our cities of residence on a mug for a prominent coffee company. Unfortunately, as quickly as it appeared, the whole project vanished due to a new creative director. This the favorite of my sketches for Boston, which I was excited to represent:
Such a treat to see my Witch of Torinia artwork not only appear in the annual Infected By Art collection, but garner a full-page spread.
I’m excited to reveal the first of three pieces for the songs of the talented Brent McCudden, based in Australia and known around the world as Oatis. It was inspiring collaborating with a musician with a shared vision. I highly recommend giving his soulful tunes a listen. Â

Publishing is a tough business. As an illustrator you can spend many months working on a cover, through multiple stages of editors giving big thumbs up, only to have the piece killed at the last minute. So while I’m busy with new projects, here’s a peak at two covers from the recent past that won’t be appearing on bookstore shelves.
