Angel of Gratitude

Recently I was exploring a series of angels. To get a better handle on depicting robes I did a study of a draped cloth. Here’s a peek at that process.

Here’s a poster I made for a group I’m involved with, mostly for the fun of it. GW is an older man with many life stories to share in what’s become an ongoing series of online gatherings. The title refers to his early years at a seminary and then working for the NSA.

As you may recall, back in the spring I submitted a proposal to the Arts Council of Brookline. The idea I came up with was all about bringing the beauty of nature into our urban spaces, along with nurturing the spirit of imagination.

Well two weeks ago I was notified that my Enchanted Forest was selected as a finalist and the specific walls have been secured. I’ve taken the concept and created new mock ups so one or all of them could potentially come to life in my hometown. The selections will be determined soon. Wish me luck!
