Journey to Create the Enchanted Forest Dragon of Brookline

Hey everybody I’m really excited to share that my support structure for painting the mural has been secured!

This is all thanks to my lifelong friend @joshuadreyfus who works as a lighting technician in the film industry. He located the scaffolding at Red Sky Studios in Foxboro. The scaffolding has two levels so I’ll be able to reach the 14 foot areas, enough room to be able to step back and look at what I’m painting, and it has wheels so I’ll be able to move it around on my own.

I’m deeply grateful for the support, both physically and emotionally. Thanks Josh!

This was a fun one to bring to life. The preliminary brief I was given said:

“An anthropomorphic slime mold (physarum polycephalum) in child’s form reaches out feelers to swing around and through netspace obstacles.”
