Hollywood moves quick. The Raven Boys novel isn’t even out yet and they’re taking it to the big screen. Well it’ll bring in more readers, so that’s something. Here’s the post.

It does feel validating when a project you’re involved with gets written up in the newspaper. The New York Times wrote a piece on our 52 Shades of Greed deck.

New portait coming along. A series like this does best I think when there’s a variation in distance with the subject. Zoom out with one, zoom in with another. Even though I’m the one putting down the paint, it still kind of stuns me how alive a piece can look…

While it’s remained just outside of popular culture, Ender’s Game makes many lists as the greatest science fiction novel of all time. It is, to be sure, one of the most beloved. It most definitely is for me.

If you’re a fan of Orson Scott Card, or an aspiring writer who appreciates good advice, I highly recommend his interview on The Geek’s Guide to the Galaxy podcast. He knows what he’s talking about. Furthermore, he knows why he knows what he’s talking about. Listen to this show. I’ll be listening to it again. And in the next few years, be reading Ender’s Game for sixth time.
