Annual retreat out of the city and into the woods –

Last winter my girlfriend and I went on an adventure to Belize. We were excited to see the beguiling kinkajou, but they’d managed to escape from the zoo. Fortunately we spotted one during a night walk through the jungle. So to enjoy the little rascal and ensure its future company, I painted her this, Kinkajou & Little Bird Blue for her birthday.

During the weekend of Sept 19th I’ll be in Allentown, PA at IlluXCon, joining the ranks of celebrated fantasy/sci fi illustrators and their devoted fans. Looking forward to meeting artists and art directors I’ve admired, as well as all those who celebrate the craft. Hope to see you there!
