I’ve only recently gotten into table top role-playing, the old school D&D kind, even though it’s something I’ve been interested in for a long time. This is my character in the 13th Age system, which our GM has adapted into a rich magic meets tech landscape. He’s a brass dragon engineer who did a stint in the circus.

Recently back from a trip driving around the epic landscape of Iceland.
Followed by a long time coming visit to the rough around the edges yet quite friendly city of Berlin.
While out for a run recently I passed by a bee in a sunflower. It struck me as a perfect moment of summer. This piece is about that sentiment and enjoying the impermanence of the season.
