Not only is the author of The Raven Boys a baddass rally driver, she’s also getting her book cover emblazoned on her car. Too cool.

The license plate “Thief” is a wink at what’s to come.

Recently The Atlantic Wire listed their favorite book covers of the year, which included my Raven Boys illustration. The recognition is terrific. However they forgot one thing, the names of everyone who made the covers. It’s a quizzical oversight. My friend and illustrator Marc Scheff brought it to my attention and wrote an open letter addressing their lack of crediting. Visit the links to follow the story.

Update: Following the debacle, article now includes credits.

Just updated the cover artwork for two terrific podcasts – Originz & Mysteries Abound.

If you appreciate well selected and narrated stories ranging from lesser known historical events to strange scientific discoveries, check out Originz.

If your inclination leans more towards dark things like tales of hauntings and accounts of the unknown, turn down the lights and turn on Mysteries Abound.

Both are created by Paulrex out of Australia. Look for them on iTunes. I love listening to good stories while I work, and these have rocketed to the top of my list. Highly recommended.
